There have been quite a few reports buzzing that some filmmakers wanted to make a film based on the life of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. After the news circulating on social media, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti also expressed her displeasure on the same on her Instagram account. However, the latest report that is buzzing, a plea has been filed in the Bombay High Court, seeking an order to restrain the release of a film titled ‘Nyay, the Justice’ which is based on the life of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, as reported by Bar and Bench.
The report further states that Manish Mishra has filed the plea, refusing to grant a permanent injunction against the release of the film. Furthermore, Mishra argues that the producer of the film, ‘Sarla Saraogi is trying to malign the reputation of the present State government by alleging that it failed to take effective steps to investigate the death of Rajput.’ That’s not it, he also claims to be emotionally attached to the Dil Bechara actor and the present statement government.
The reports also said that the case came before Justice PK Chavan and the hearing has been deferred till the first week of March as he did not find any urgency in the matter.
Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, after reportedly hanging himself at his Bandra residence. After this tragic demise, three federal agencies - the Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate, and Narcotics Control Bureau intervened to solve the case.
