Nushrratt Bharuccha is gearing up for the release of her upcoming social comedy ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ where she plays a condom saleswoman. The movie will see Bharuccha playing a girl from Madhya Pradesh who takes up the job of selling condoms in her town. The film traces her journey as she faces challenges due to spreading awareness about the use of condoms- which is considered a social taboo in her neighborhood. In a recent interview, she revealed why it is important for women to buy condoms.

Speaking to India.com, the Dream Girl actress stated that it’s important for women to start buying condoms without feeling shy because it’s their choice. Nushrratt said, “I feel it’s important for women to buy condoms because it’s her right equally. I hope women should understand the importance of equality. It’s your choice to choose your protection and if he is the right man he will understand it.  Bharuccha had earlier spoken about her first reaction after she came to know about condoms. The actress called herself 'lucky' that she was introduced to condoms at school through sex education. “Also, at home, my parents had talked to me about it. Of course, I couldn’t understand what they were saying, I was like ‘kya bol rahe ho? (What are you saying?)'. But they didn’t just tell me one day, it was prolonged, they kept reiterating it, and at some point, the message got stuck in the head and it was clear that this is what it is and this is why it is,” Nushrratt explained.

‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ has been directed by Jai Basantu Singh and is written by Raaj Shaandilyaa. It is slated to hit the theatres tomorrow, June 10, 2022.
