In the beginning of the year, there were reports that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be moving in together, however the latter had refuted them by saying that she bought a place to start her own production house and named it as Eternal Sunshine Productions.
Then, another set of reports stated that Ranbir had asked his mother Neetu Kapoor to look for a new house and more recently, the actor was spotted with girlfriend Alia outside a real estate agent’s office in Mumbai, giving rise to speculations that they are planning to move in together. However, a fresh report in Asian Age claims otherwise. The report suggests that Ranbir will be moving back with his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, once his father returns from the US where he is currently undergoing treatment for an unspecified illness.
A friends of the actor was quoted saying to the daily, “The recent circumstances (father Rishi Kapoor’s illness) has brought Ranbir close to his father. He wants to spend maximum time with his parents.” Speaking to the daily about his return, Rishi Kapoor said from the US, “Looking forward to working again. I am much better now. Many people have been constantly inquiring. Sanjay Dutt, for example, has been in touch regularly. Actually more than me, it is my wife Neetu whom everyone messages about my health.”
On the work front, Ranbir and Alia will star together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. In fact, Alia recently revealed that she had pleaded with Ayan to cast her opposite Ranbir. “The idea for Brahmastra was conceived long back when Ayan had just done Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. I wanted to work with him and I have always wanted to work with Ranbir as well. I pleaded to Ayan that please cast me with him,” said Ms Bhatt.
