Malaika Arora’s show Moving In With Malaika is showing the audiences a new side of the celebrity lifestyle. In the recent episode of the reality show, choreographer Terrence Lewis and actress-dancer Nora Fatehi were seen meeting up with Malaika at a café. While, he suggested Malaika and Nora to dance together on Chaiyan Chaiyan, the actresses, who are known to perform of item songs in movies, opened up about being compared to each other.

For the unversed, both the actresses are amazing dancers, loved by the audience for their fluid body language. They have also judged several dance reality shows together. Talking about how the constant comparisons ‘water down’ their identities, Nora said, “Malaika has done things I could never do—you are part of the growing legacy of Bollywood, that was a golden time. We talk about the time; we don’t talk about today. Malaika futher added how people pit them against each other by making them judge a show together. She said, “If I was on a show, they would make sure Nora was on the show. I figured it was a constant thing that everyone was trying to pit us against each other and putting us on the show.” The 49-year-old added that people look for ways to ‘shove’ Nora out. When the 30-year-old asked the older actress if she ever felt bad because of it, Malaika shared, “I’m human at the end of the day. There are days at the end of the day when I say, ‘Oh that job could have been mine and now someone else has it.’ That happens all the time. Things like that can break you. You know that someone out there is prettier and younger, and you have to deal with that.”


She went on to express that at the end of the day, she has many girls come and go from the industry but she has managed to maintain her place in the industry. Talking about the constant comparisons Nora said, “When they compare, I think if I went through half the sh*t that you went through in your career, I would want people to salute me.”

Both the dancers featured in the Ayushmaan Khurrana starrer An Action Hero, where they had their own item songs.
