Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez and Nora Fatehi have been making the headlines for their involvement in the Rs. 200 crore money laundering case. After the former during an interrogation had mentioned that she was ‘falsely implicated by the ED while celebs such as Nora Fatehi, who had also received gifts from conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, had been made witness.’
Nora, in return has now filed a defamation suit against Jacqueline and various media publications in a Delhi court. If reports are to be believed, the hearing of the same will be conducted by the Patiala House Court on March 25. As per AB News, Nora has claimed in her complaint that Jacqueline’s statement has caused her reputation harm as it was further carried and circulated by various media organisations. ALSO READ: WHAT! The 30-year-old actress’ advocates Vikram Singh Chauhan, Umair Ahmed, and Tanisha further stated that Jacqueline has unnecessarily dragged Nora and defamed her ‘as she is in the same industry and is fully aware that the business of any artist and their career is solely based on their reputation.’ For the unversed, both the actresses have been appearing before different investigation agencies for their involvement in the Sukesh Chandrashekhar extortion case.
Conman Sukesh is currently in jail as he was accused of cheating various people, including high-profile politicians and individuals such as former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh's wife Aditi Singh.
