So tomorrow is a big day- for Salman Khan and
Bollywood. 2017 has been a dismal year and the industry is desperately looking
for some compensation from Tiger Zinda Hai before we pull the curtains down on
the year next Sunday.
The onus is on the bankable star- Salman Khan. Well, he
did delivered a cold turkey, Tubelight- which compelled him to return the
losses incurred by the film's distributors. We are sure that he hasn't
forgotten that- but the trade is absolutely confident that the Bajrangi
Bhaijaan star is coming up with a winner in TZH.

Executive Director of Gaiety-Galaxy-Maratha Mandir says, "I am getting a good rush at the Advance Booking counters. I am releasing it in Gaiety and Galaxy both. It's a normal practice to release in two adjacent outlets if and when we have a big film, but it has been not a normal practice to have a hit this year. I wish TZH clicks, lekin ek baat hai- so far so good."
Trade analyst Amod Mehra says, "The film will garner minimum Rs 200 crore and could touch around Rs 350 crore. The first day will see a collection of at least Rs 35 crore."
Salman Khan And Katrina Kaif
Akshaye Rathi endorses, "Rs 35 crore it should be on Friday. The PAN India audience is hungry for a film which suits their tastes. We have not had a masala entertainer after Golmaal Again and the public is extremely hungry to devour TZH."
Adds Rathi, "There is no shadow of Tubelight lurking even at a distance. Tubelight took Salman away from his domain and TZH only brings it back. Above all, let us not forget that history has it that Salman and YRF (producer) is a deadly combination. They hit the highest figures with Ek Tha TIger, only to scale it up with Sultan."
Leading distributor Ramesh Sippy rounds it off, "TZH should come up with fantastic figures. It will not disappoint, coming from YRF banner which Aditya Chopra values very much."
