Queen director
Vikas Bahl’s plans to emerge from the shadow of the sexual harassment
scandal with a big film starring a big star, seems to have fallen flat.
Vikas had taken the
script of his next, Super 30, a film based on the life of Patna-based
mathematician Anand Kumar, to Hrithik Roshan.
Hrithik Roshan Says
No To Vikas Bahl’s Super 30
Earlier, reports
had claimed that Hrithik had given the project his nod and that Super 30, will
be his next film after Kaabil.
Now, SpotboyE.com
has it that Hrithik has said ‘No’ to the film.
Instead of an
outright rejection, he told Vikas that he will only be able to do the film
after he wraps up Krrish 4. Now, Krrish 4 is still in its scripting stages so
that would mean waiting for at least a couple of years.

Seems, this was
just a polite way of turning down the offer.
According to
sources, it is unlikely now that the film will be made without Hrithik Roshan
in the lead. That would mean that Super 30 goes on the backburner for now.
Meanwhile Vikas’s
Phantom partner Madhu Mantena’s next production has got a leading man. None
other than Ranveer Singh.
Kapil Dev Holding The World Cup Trophy
We were the first
to tell you that Ranveer has given his nod to Kabir Khan’s film based on
India’s historic 1983 World Cup victory.
Ranveer will play then captain Kapil Dev in the film.
The film in
question is supposed to be produced by Phantom Films. Madhu Mantena is very
close to the cricketers (his wife Masaba is Sir Vivian Richards’s daughter).
And he will apparently take the official rights from the players involved in
the unforgettable India vs West Indies 1983 final at Lord’s.
