Nimrat Kaur In The Test Case
Nimrat’s rigorous work out included exercises like running,
weight-training, consistent drills and a lot of combat training. Also, she had
to give up salt and sugar completely. Nimrat said, “There was never any room
for faltering because I knew physically if I can’t get into a mould that needs
me to do justice to what Captain Shikha Sharma can attempt, then mentally I
won’t be able to associate with her character. It takes a different kind of
discipline and that is something I will cherish forever. It was very important
to stay true to the physicality of what the girl needs to be like. It has been
a journey of blood, sweat and tears.”
