Neha Dhupia is currently expecting her second child with husband Angad Bedi. The couple already have a daughter, Mehr, who is just over two-and-a-half years old and it seems like that this pregnancy is bringing Neha much closer to her daughter too. Recently, she shared a video on Instagram, where her daughter turned into her personal make-up artist on the set of one of her shoots.

Ask Neha if she feels her connection has grown with her daughter during this time and she replies, “Yeah, I think so. Mehr is very intuitive and I was just discussing this with my parents that she is a very smart girl. She gets it instantly and she recently came to our shoot. We had never taken to our shoots before but we wanted to take some really nice pictures. I told Angad that I don’t know if I am going to be pregnant again or not, so let’s take some good pictures."

Neha informs that Mehr came to the set for just about an hour and it was like a huge gambit since they had a really small unit and everyone got tested since they all felt the need to be careful with a baby coming. “When we do photoshoots, the photographer gives you a mark to stand on, and I still have that video from that day where Mehr finished her few little things, stood there on the set and then instructed me to stand on my mark. There are a very few people I take instructions from; she is definitely one of them. She has got both of us whipped,” she gushes.

Mehr, Neha says, kept everyone on their toes and elevated the mood on the set. Ask Neha how it was to find a personal make-up artist in her daughter and she smiles. “Mehr is obsessed with everything girly, whether it’s my jewellery, hairband, make-up or high heels. It’s like a Mumbai thing where we take our shoes outside the door, clean it and then take it inside. So, when I leave them out, she’ll walk around in them. I didn’t think that she would turn out so girly, but she has that side.”

Neha laments that due to the lockdown they couldn’t go outside and Mehr couldn’t dress-up like she likes to do, but also informs that her daughter fulfils that desire at home. “When she was much younger, she was given these princess dresses that she now wears for no reason. She’d be having oats in breakfast but in this whole princess gown. And when you ask her why, she just owns it,” she shares proudly.
