SpotboyE.com engaged in a conversation with Neetu Chandra who had marked her Bollywood debut with Garam Masala. The last memorable role of the actress was in the horror film 13B wherein she starred opposite R Madhavan. However, if she had nodded in the affirmative, then she would have Aanand L Rai’s Tanu Weds Manu in her kitty.

During the conversation, Neetu happened to tell us that she was offered Tanu Weds Manu. However, after a couple of days, her 13B co-star Madhavan came up to her and told her that they have already done one film together. In not so many words, he happened to basically drive home the message that it would be better if they rather do another film a little later, rather than immediately. So, we asked that after Madhavan conveyed this to her, did she go to Aanand L Rai and opt out of the film?

She said, "No, I never went to Aanand L Rai and opted out. But, suddenly I learnt one day that somebody else was shooting in that role.” So, we asked her that was it the lead role? She said, “Of course.” Thus, it is clear that Neetu Chandra told us yesterday that the role had first come to her and not Kangana.

Meanwhile, on the work front, she has returned from America to do a special song for SpotlampE called Ishqa. Sung by singer Payal Dev it is a fun peppy number featuring Neetu in her most sensuous avatar, soaring the temperature higher on screen. We even decoded her style file in the number as she dazzled in a black shimmering cut out jumpsuit with red strappy heels, kohled eyes and straightened hair.

"Ishqa is a very special song for me because it brings out a different side of me, a side no one has seen before. The rhythm is extremely peppy and once you've heard it, you just keep humming it all day! It's going to be out soon and I hope viewers give it as much love as they always give me" says Neetu.

Well, apart from this song, the actress has just finished shooting for The Worst Day, a comedy film which marks her debut in Hollywood. She is also juggling her time to shoot for a Korean youth action TV series Narae.
