Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s brother Shamas Siddiqui was supporting him when the former was having marital differences with his wife Aaliya. When she filed for divorce, Shamas was the one who sided with his brother and spoke on his behalf. However, his recent reaction to Nawaz’s Twitter post left everyone baffled. Shamas was not quite supportive of Nawazuddin’s outburst over celebs vacationing in the Maldives amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Well, now after condemning his post, his brother Shamas Siddiqui opens up about his rift with Nawaz. In a recent chat with TOI, Shamas said that they had creative differences over the film, Bole Chudiyan.

When asked what creatives difference he is talking about, Shamas replied, "Those normal things which happen between a director and an actor.” Shamas was very excited about the songs in his film during the chat and was asked if the Sacred Games actor was not happy with the songs? Shamas quipped, “Mujhe farak nahin padta, people are liking it. Nawaz tweeted two songs and did not tweet the third, though,” while adding, “He wants the film to be very real and I want it to be commercial.” Earlier, Siddiqui lashed out at celebrities who are posting vacation pictures on social media. The actor reminded these celebs about the people dying of hunger during these tough times.

Shamas Siddiqui questioned Nawazuddin why he is so angry as he tweeted, “Why are you so angry bro everyone has the right to go anywhere. Everyone paid on their taxes and contributing to build the nation and what about you? Can you tell me what have you done for the society? Please ‘FALTU MEIN AACHCHA BANNE KI KOSHISH KYOUN KARTE HO?”
