Veteran Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda is all set to start a new chapter of her life. Being an avid social media user, she recently took to her official handle to proudly announce that she got admission at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Ahmedabad to study BPGP MBA for two years. While, her admirers lauded her for her for this achievement, she also was criticised by a section of the internet. Many alleged that she got into the institute through ‘influence and quota’.
Well, now amid all the trolling, she has shared a photo with her professor who helped her crack the CAT/IAT entrance exams. Taking an indirect jibe at the trollers, she wrote, “Thank you to @mba_ims for coaching me for the entrance exams. This is Prasad Sir, who played the biggest hand in coaching & preparing me to crack the CAT/IAT entrance exams. One of the BEST teachers I have ever had the honour of learning from. Us celebrating at the @mba_ims office the day I received my acceptance.”
Reacting to a troll’s message, who had accused her of using her influence to get admission, Navya responded to them and sent them a direct message. The message reads, “It's a 2 year Blended Post Graduate Program! Please visit their website for further details regarding admissions criteria & syllabus thank you for your wishes!” A screenshot of the same is going viral on social media.

For the unversed, Navya is a graduate from New York's Fordham University. She is the co-owner of Aara Health, an online platform that discusses health issues. Last year, she hosted a podcast ‘What The Hell Navya’ alongside her grandmother Jaya Bachchan and mother Shweta Bachchan Nanda where she addressed topics relating to women's health and hygiene. This year she made a comeback with a second season of her podcast.
