Nana Patekar is one of the most versatile actors in the film industry and there is no denying that. After wooing the audience with his outstanding performances in films, he is all set to make his debut in web shows, and for the same, he has teamed up with Prakash Jha for the upcoming socio-political show titled ‘Laal Batti.’ Yes, you read that right! Notably, this will be Nana’s first web show and fans are looking forward to his debut in the digital space.

As per a BollywoodLife report, the Ab Tak Chhappan 2 actor will be seen playing the role of a lawyer in his debut web series. A source close to the development revealed to the portal that senior and popular TV actress Meghna Malik has been roped in opposite Nana Patekar. She would essay the role of his wife in the same. To note, Meghna is widely known for her brilliant stint in the Colors TV show ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’ which earned her huge stardom and recognition. ‘Laal Batti’ will be Nana’s second outing with Jha as they had earlier worked together in the film ‘Rajneeti’ which starred Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Nana Patekar faced a tough time after actress Tanushree Dutta accused him of harassing her on a film set during the MeToo movement.  In 2018, she alleged that the senior actor misbehaved with her by inappropriately touching her while they were filming a song on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleasss.’ Dutta had also lodged a complaint against Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Sameer Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang at the Oshiwara police station.
