The second wave of Coronavirus has hit India very badly. Many are succumbing to the deadly virus. Sadly, the famous music composer Shravan Rathod of the Nadeem-Shravan duo has breathed his last. He was admitted to the hospital after he contracted Coronavirus. Reportedly, his health was critical and he was on a ventilator. Unfortunately, he lost his battle of life to Coronavirus. The news of composer Shravan Rathod's death was confirmed by filmmaker Anil Sharma.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Anil Sharma expressed grief and stated that Shravan was a dear friend to him. He wrote, "V v sad .. just came to know about the great music director #shravan he left all of us ..due to COVID .. very dear friend n colleague of mine .worked with him in #maharaja Always gave great melodies..my deepest condolences to his family. He will always remain in our hearts. RIP".
After the reports of his hospitalisation made headlines, Shravan's lyricist friend Sameer had informed Etimes that the composer developed heart issues, as well as his lungs, were affected post contracting Coronavirus. Stating that he was also diabetic, Sameer said, “He has also developed heart issues, please pray to God almighty for his speedy recovery." Fans are expressing grief on social media.
Nadeem-Shravan had together composed many iconic songs such as Sochenge Tumhe Pyar, Pyar Bhi Ho Jayega, Dheere Dheere Se Mere Zindagi Mein Aana and many others.
