Renowned Bollywood veteran, Mumtaz, recently embarked on a visit to Pakistan, offering a glimpse into her time there through a series of pictures and videos. Taking to her Instagram handle on Friday, Mumtaz shared snapshots from her sojourn. Among the latest images, one captures her posing with none other than Fawad Khan. Mumtaz dons a black top and maroon pants, contrasting with Fawad's black kurta-pyjama, complemented by a navy blue shawl draped over his shoulders. As the camera captures Fawad's smile, Mumtaz stands by his side, looking away. Another picture shows the duo engrossed in conversation, seated on a sofa.

In response to one of the posts, an Instagram user commented, “Please send him back,” a clear allusion to the post-Uri tension in India, during which a ban was imposed on Pakistani artists. Fawad Khan was at the epicenter of that controversy due to his supporting role in Karan Johar's romantic drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Earlier, Mumtaz shared a video featuring the legendary Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali playing the harmonium and singing a ghazal, while she and a few others sit in awe and admiration around him. Mumtaz also posted videos of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan performing on stage, and a picture of her posing with him.

Recently, Mumtaz made headlines for criticizing her contemporary Zeenat Aman for her supportive stance on live-in relationships before marriage. In an interview with Zoom, Mumtaz remarked, “Zeenat should be careful with what she is advising. She has all of a sudden come into this huge social media popularity, and I can understand her excitement about sounding like a cool aunty. But giving advice that is counter to our moral values is not the solution to increasing your following.”
