Monsoons come with pros and cons. While many people enjoy the rains to the fullest, but when it pours incessantly daily commute is disrupted. After a month or so of respite, heavy rains have hit Mumbai city, yet again. Bollywood and TV celebs have been affected by the rains as much as the common man. Showing the true Mumbai spirit, Mumbaikars offered help to those stranded on the roads. One such incidents has been shared by actress Renuka Shahane. After getting stranded in water, the actress received help from the passers-by on the roads.
Hailing the never-say-never spirit of the city, Renuka took to Twitter and shared a picture. Captioning it she wrote, “#MumbaiSpirit in #MumbaiRains Helping each other in times of distress #Mumbaikars” In the picture, all drenched in water Renuka can be seen holding the hands of others as she tries to cross the water-logged road. Since two days, Mumbai faced heavy rainfall disrupting affecting the tight schedules of Bollywood celebs. Seeing the bad weather condition, Sunny Deol had to postpone the trailer launch of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, starring his son Karan Deol. Other who had to face the wrath of heavy rains are Varun Dhawan, Kajol, Bipasha Basu, Sara Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu among others, who took to social media to share posts on highlighting the problems being faced by them and other Mumbaikars.
Not only this, Amitabh Bachchan’s residence Pratiksha was
also water-logged. Sara Ali Khan too had taken to Insta to share her rain
story. Calling Mumbai, Venice Bipasha shared an Insta story of water-logged
roads.
