Veteran actor Mohan Joshi, who is predominantly known for his work in Hindi as well as Marathi films and shows, has tested positive for COVID-19. He made a post on his Instagram stories and informed his fans about the same on Sunday evening. The actor has apparently received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as well said a report in the Times of India. As per the report, the veteran actor was shooting for a Marathi TV show in Goa, a few days ago. He recently returned to Mumbai, after his TV show shoot was cancelled.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Joshi wrote, “Please Stay Home & Stay Safe.” He added and informed, “I’m Corona positive.” The actor shared the message with a sad emoji. As the actor is undergoing treatment for COVID-19, he requested all his fans to stay safe. He also urged them to refrain from heading out and requested them to ‘stay home'.

Meanwhile, Mohan Joshi is currently featuring on the Marathi show Aggabai Sunbai. The cast and crew of the show returned to the city recently, after the Entertainment Society of Goa stalled and cancelled permissions to shoot films and TV shows in the state due to the rise in COVID-19 positive cases. Last year, Nivedita Joshi-Saraf, who is also part of the show Aggabai Sunbai had tested positive for the virus. Just recently, Pahile Na Mi Tula actor Aashay Kulkarni contracted the virus. He did not travel to Goa for the shoot of the show. On the other hand, it was recently reported that show Shaurya Aur Anokhi actor Sooraj Thapar also tested positive, after he returned from Goa.
