Shahid Kapoor’s half-sister Sanah Kapur got married to her long-time boyfriend Mayank Pahwa in an intimate ceremony in Mahabaleshwar on March 2. Their wedding was a close-knit affair with family members and close friends in attendance. Shahid along with his family, wife Mira Rajput and kids Misha and Zain attended the wedding and shared beautiful glimpses from it on social media. His little munchkins were quite excited as this was their ‘first-ever' Shaadi’ and their mom Mira was very particular about their outfits.
On Monday, the star wife shared a boomerang video of Misha and Zain while explaining all that her kids wore at their aunt’s wedding functions. The clip shows Misha and Zain twinning in white and sitting on a swing with their back towards the camera. Alongside it, Mira wrote, “Kudrat ke nazaare So the kids went for their first ever Shaadi and all I was thinking about was all the stuff they’d eat and drink away literally like kids in a candy store and be utterly spoiled by the entire family. Let’s just say, they had a blast! But what was more time consuming was getting their outfits done almost overnight, to size, to match and with backups in case of an itchy sleeve meltdown.”
She added that for Dhol, Misha and Zain wore matching Sharara set and Kurta pyjama with heart buttons. The matching rubber bands were a surprise touch. In Mehendi and Sangeet, they wore powder blue gota sharara set and matching chikan Nehru jacket and kurta pyjama. And for the wedding, while Misha opted for a lehenga with delicate embroidery and matching potli, little Zain twinned with his dad Shahid in a Kurta and breeches.
For the unversed, Sanah Kapoor is the daughter of Shahid's father Pankaj Kapur and his wife Supriya Pathak. She exchanged wedding vows with Mayank, who is the son of actors Seema Pahwa and Manoj Pahwa.
