Actor Manoj Bajpayee had been shooting in Kerala for his upcoming project recently, but the actor suddenly had to rush to Delhi today when he got the news that his father, RK Bajpayee, has been hospitalised in the capital city. He is 83-years-old.
A source close to the actor informs that Manoj’s father’s condition is quite critical, so as soon as Manoj heard the news, he couldn’t stay for the shoot. Meanwhile, Manoj has been busy with multiple projects professionally as he was seen in the second season of The Family Man in June this year. He was also felicitated with the award for Best Actor (Web) at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne for the same. He was also seen in the Netflix’s web series Ray, based on the works of celebrated filmmaker Satyajit Ray. He was a part of the story Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, alongside Gajraj Rao, Raghubir Yadav and Manoj Pahwa.
Apart from that, the actor had two film releases, both direct-to-OTT. First was Silence… Can You Hear It with Prachi Desai and Arjun Mathur, while in August he was seen in Rensil D’Silva’s Dial 100 with Neena Gupta and Sakshi Tanwar.
Up next, he has the Malayalam crime-thriller Kurup, with Dulquer Salmaan, which is looking for a release soon. He had another project for which he had been shooting in Kerala recently. He also has Ronnie Screwvala’s investigative thriller, Despatch, directed by Kanu Behl, where he will be seen with Shahana Goswami.
