Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has made a name for himself with his versatile performances. Known to always keep to himself, he has very rarely opened up about his struggles and experiences. During a recent interaction, he opened up about his first international flight experience and recalled being shocked when he was given alcohol on the flight for free.
Remembering the time when he visited Paris as a part of an exchange program, during his theatre days, Manoj told Curly Tales that it was his first international flight. He revealed that while going to Paris, he didn’t take any alcohol as he thought “they would charge me for it and I didn’t have money!” However, he added, “After going there I found out that they serve it for free. The 53-year-old actor went on to recall that the trip was an amazing experience, as he got a chance to learn about new things, like chopsticks. He revealed that it was during a party when he came across chopsticks and watched people comfortably eat with it. When he tried his hand at it, he failed. He added, “A very dignified lady came from the other side of the table, picked up the fork, and she said, ‘You can use this also. Manoj revealed that it was recently that he started practising how to use chopsticks again because of his daughter. He stated that she felt bad that her father isn’t able to eat using chopsticks. The actor added that she taught him how to use it, made him practise and now he can manage.
On the work front, Manoj Bajpayee was last seen in the Rahul V Chittella directorial Gulmohar which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. He also has the third season of Raj and DK’s web-series The Family Man in his pipeline.
