Bollywood celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Sonu Sood, Kiara Advani, Richa Chadha and others have condemned the atrocities against women and they have finally broken their silence against violence in Manipur.

In a shocking turn of events, the Manipur viral naked parade video, which surfaced on the internet recently, has caught eyeballs from across the nation. The incident, depicting the distressing violence against women, has prompted swift action from the highest authorities, including the Supreme Court and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The situation in Manipur’s hill districts continues to escalate, leading to tragic consequences.

After a disturbing video of woman’s naked parade went viral on the internet, the incident has also reportedly sparked public outrage on social media and hashtags like ‘#manipurvoilence’, ‘#shameful’, ‘#enoughisenough’ have been trending on Twitter.  

Apart from the Bollywood celebrities, even netizens have called for immediate action against the mob that harassed the women in the video. 

Upon witnessing the appalling situation and the viral naked parade video, the Supreme Court has taken suo moto cognisance of the matter, reported Zee News. 

Chief Justice of India (CJI) expressed grave concern over the incident and stated that the court must be informed about the measures taken by the government to ensure justice for the victims. 

The court has called upon both the central and state governments to apprise it of the actions taken to bring the perpetrators to justice.
