Kangana Ranaut-Sonu Sood fight is far from over. Now, Manikarnika producer has entered the battle field. In an extremely thought-over quote, Kamal Jain (producer) told SpotboyE.Com EXCLUSIVELY, "The additional shoot of the film is presently underway at ND Studios at Karjat, near Mumbai. After the last schedule was over, we saw the line-up of the film. On seeing it, we decided that apart from the patchwork, we also needed a few additional scenes. Once the scenes were written, we approached Kangana for additional dates. But Krish had moved on to his next project by then. Given how driven and creatively involved Kangana Ranaut has been on this project since its inception, we realised that she would be the best person to take over the mantle. Hence, there is no hijacking of the project and whatever decisions are being taken are with the full support of the producer and the studio. We have an aggressive production schedule ahead of us since we are committed to releasing the film on January 25, 2019. Our team is totally focused and dedicated to finish the patchwork shoot to complete the film on time as our release date of Jan 25, 2019. The post production and VFX is going on in full swing and as well as the balance and patch shoot. I  have utmost respect and love for Sonu and he is like family to us. With a heavy heart we have mutually decided to part ways due to his date unavailability. He is a thorough professional and have his dates committed to Simmba which is also releasing in December.  I would love to work with him in the future again."

It is clear that Jain is accusing Sonu for giving away the dates to Ranveer Singh starrer, Simmba. Day before yesterday, Kangana even accused Sonu Sood while speaking to a section of the media. "Sonu and I haven’t even met since the last shot with Krish (director) last year. He is busy filming Simmba. He couldn’t even give us tentative dates to match combinations with other actors. The producers showed him the film and writers narrated the patchwork to him. He refused to meet me. He vehemently denied to work under a woman director, which is kind of amusing because Sonu is a dear friend and I have even launched the music of a film that he produced, at his request. Even though the team suggested that they have full faith in me, it seems, Sonu had neither dates nor faith,” said Kangana.

Sonu had, however, fought back saying, "The gender of the director is not the issue. Competence is. Let’s not confuse the two. I’ve worked with Farah Khan who’s a competent woman director and Farah (Khan) and I had a great professional equation and we are still best of friends. That’s all I would like to say.”

Jain's entry in the fight was expected, as every section of the media including SpotboyE.com, was hounding him yesterday for his take on the dispute. However, we were expecting him to take a slightly diplomatic stand - which he has definitely not. Don't be surprised if Kangana and Sonu have more to add. Times are such that everyone wants to have the last word.
