Last night, SpotboyE.com broke the story that Manikarnika producer, Kamal Jain, is battling for life at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, where he was brought in after he suffered a paralytic stroke. We hear, he has been put on ventilator. Now, Zee Studios, who has put pots of money into Manikarnika, has percolated a statement on behalf of Jain.
This statement later got attached to his Twitter handle with a tweet above which reads, “Dear friends, this certainly is not the best time to be in hospital. Hope to get well soon and enjoy the success of our collective dream & hardwork. My best wishes to all.” We at SpotboyE.com know that the situation is grim. A few visitors were advised not to visit him in the past few days because he wouldn’t be able to talk to them.

We brought it to your notice last night that Jain moved mountains to convince Zee to bear the budget once it almost reached a whopping Rs 100 crore. And the buzz suggests that the over expenditure means that Jain will have to shell out money to pay to Zee, if, god forbid, Manikarnika doesn’t set the cash registers ringing loudly. Evidently, for Manikarnika to become a hit, it will have to earn Rs 200 crore (at least).

Meanwhile, Senior journalist Faridoon Shahryar tweeted about Jain’s critical health a while ago. Shahid filmmaker, Hansal Mehta, responded with a heartfelt message which read, “Sad news. I completely empathise with him and the possible cause of his condition. Prayers.”
