Mandira Bedi’s husband and filmmaker Raj Kaushal has passed away after suffering a heart attack. Director Onir, who had worked with Kaushal on ‘My Brother… Nikhil,’ confirmed his death on his Twitter handle. Sharing an old picture of Kaushal, Onir tweeted, “Gone too soon. We lost Filmmaker and Producer @rajkaushal1 this morning. Very Sad. He was one of the producers of my first film #MyBrotherNikhil. One of those few who believed in our vision and supported us. Prayers for his soul."
As soon as the news of Raj Kaushal’s death broke out, heartfelt tributes started pouring in from his close friends from the industry. Mandira Bedi’s TV co-star Rohit Roy took to his Twitter to express grief. He tweeted, “This is unbelievable…. Numb with grief and shock One of our closest …….”
Offering his respect, Roshan Abbas wrote, “Heard the terrible news about @rajkaushal. May Your Jar of Hope always be filled in the afterlife as it was here. I will miss you terribly. Strength to the family and friends.
Mourning the sad demise, actor Amol Parashar commented on Roshan Abbas’s post, “Got to know from this tweet. I am shocked. This is heartbreaking. He was so full of cheer.”
