The commencement of the shoot for Salman Khan's upcoming film, The Bull, has encountered a delay of a few months, attributed to the ongoing India-Maldives conflict. The movie, produced by Karan Johar and directed by Vishnu Varadhan, was initially set to begin shooting in February 2024. However, the first schedule has been postponed as Karan, Vishnu, and Salman take more time to finalize certain aspects of the screenplay. The Bull is a film inspired by the notable Operation Cactus, conducted by the Indian Army to protect the Maldives from potential terrorist threats. Salman Khan takes on the role of Brigadier Farukh Bulsara in the movie. Salman Khan and Karan Johar have teamed up for a full-fledged film for the first time. Their initial collaboration dates back to 1998 when the actor made a cameo appearance in Karan's debut directorial, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, playing the character of Aman. Despite attempts to collaborate on various projects over the years, it is with The Bull that they are embarking on a comprehensive film partnership.




On the work front, Salman has other exciting projects in the pipeline, including collaborations with Shah Rukh Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan, as well as upcoming films like Kick 2 and a venture with Sooraj Barjatya.
