Bollywood actress and fitness enthusiast Malaika Arora has rented out her Mumbai apartment in Bandra West to costume designer Kashish Hans for a monthly rent of ₹1.57 lakh for three years, as reported by Hindustan Times referencing documents by Zapkey. The apartment is located in the upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra West. According to the rental agreement, the rent will increase by 5% each year. The breakdown shows that the tenant will pay ₹1.5 lakh per month in the first year, ₹1.57 lakh per month in the second year, and ₹1.65 lakh per month in the third year. The rental document, dated April 29, 2024, confirms that Kashish Hans will be paying ₹1.65 lakh by the third year. A security deposit of ₹4.5 lakh was paid to secure the apartment. Malaika Arora has not yet officially confirmed this development. Previously, she had rented another property in Bandra for ₹1.2 lakh per month to Jeffrey Goldenberg, owner of The Jeff Goldenberg Studio. Additionally, in 2022, Malaika Arora's boyfriend, actor Arjun Kapoor, sold an apartment in the 81 Aureate building in Bandra West for ₹16 crore. Malaika also owns a flat in the same building and has faced legal issues with the builder regarding the possession of the property. According to a previous Hindustan Times report, Malaika had filed a complaint with the real estate regulator MahaRERA against the developer for failing to provide timely possession. This dispute was settled amicably in 2021.
