Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior trailer released yesterday, getting some spectacular artists from the tinsel town such as Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and Saif Ali Khan to share screen space. And while we say so here comes the controversy hurricane for Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Based on the great warrior Tanaji Malusure, the film has faced objection from Sambhaji brigade, the organization has picked three major points in the trailer, asking the makers to provide clarification on the same.
The organization has questioned the makers on certain dialogues of Kajol as she plays the character of Savitri Malusare. They also pinpointed a man throwing a wooden stick at Shivaji Maharaj. Lastly, the creative liberty was taken by the makers, slowly and steadily erasing Shivaji Maharaj’s image of being a secular and inclusive leader by showcasing the symbol of OM on the flag. As per reports in Mumbai Mirror, the organization was quoted saying, “Movies should be made on historical topics, but we will not tolerate the distortion of historical incidents/facts.” ALSO READ:
