Mahesh Bhatt has always been known for his straight-talking ways and speaking his mind irrespective of the stage or occasion. It was on full display at the launch of Shaheen Bhatt’s book which is called ‘I’ve Never Been (Un)Happier’. The launch had Mahesh Bhatt, Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Pooja Bhatt as well as the author herself present. Several pictures and videos from the event have surfaced on the Internet and shows the family talking about the struggles with depression and mental health.
Mahesh Bhatt got emotional while answering a question by the journalist, which was about fitting in society. He could be seen giving a heated, impassioned speech which in turn makes Alia call out to her dad. Mahesh Bhatt goes on, making Alia Bhatt uncomfortable and she says, “I warned you this was going to happen.” Soni Razdan could also be seen signaling him to calm down. However, Mahesh Bhatt goes on and makes his point, staying firm on his opinion. Meanwhile, at the launch of Shaheen Bhatt’s book, Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt were Shaheen’s biggest cheerleaders. Soni Razdan opened up about how she couldn’t figure out the symptoms of depression- chronic insomnia, being one. Shaheen also talked about the resistance she felt about seeking help.
