We have just made a call to Cooper Hospital in Irla and learnt from the Coroner's Court in the hospital's premises that Mahesh Anand's body is not lying there anymore. An official on duty tells us, "Mahesh's body was claimed by his Russian wife Laana, yesterday. She came in alone sometime in the afternoon. We guess that the funeral must be over by now." Added the official, "We didn't see anything suspicious in his body when we conducted the post-mortem, but the real and confirmatory test will be the visceral analysis." Laana is Mahesh's 5th wife after Barkha Roy (1987), Erika D'souza (1989), Madhu Malhotra (1992), Usha Bachani (2000) and Laana (2015).

Guess it's all over but one still does not know if Mahesh Anand died a natural death or not. Senior PI Ravinder Badgujar from Versova Police Station maintains that until the visceral report is out, they would not know if foul play can be indeed ruled out. So, all the reports doing the rounds that "Police Rule Out Foul Play In Mahesh Anand's Death' are wrong. We have brought you a senior cop's quote- and that's that.

For those who've come in late, Mahesh Anand (57) died on Saturday. SpotboyE.com was the FIRST to break the shocking news. The actor was in dire straits as far as his well-being and financial state was concerned.. Mahesh's brother-in-law Kunal Dasgupta (Ex-CEO of Sony, married to Mahesh's sister Lata) had endorsed that he was in a state of depression and refused to take much help from his wife and him. We had also brought you an EXCLUSIVE report on how Mahesh was desperate to meet his son Trishul (who has changed his name to Anthony Vohra), who was born from his second marriage to Erika D'souza who has now remarried and settled in Dubai. Senior filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani tried to help him by casting him in a brief role in his latest flick Rangeela Raja, but clearly that was not enough to revive Mahesh's spirits, which were down in the dumps since he had virtually stopped getting work from 2000 onward.
