Barkha Roy felt she had found the world at her feet when she took the saat pheras with Mahesh Anand, who passed away yesterday. She had only love and stars in her eyes. Mahesh was a very successful model and Barkha was young and attractive, Sparks flew and they soon got hitched. "IT qwas friendship at first but soon transformed into love," says a source, adding, "But it didn't last long. The fizz went out of the window very soon and they were fighting like catsa and dogs." Eventually, they separated.
Those painful memories still stand sharp in Barkha's mind it seems, for she refuses to be drawn into a conversation about Mahesh. Yesterday evening, we repeatedly called her for her reaction- but she only texted us 'I am out of town. Can't talk right now". Late at night, we got a WhatsApp Text from her only when we messaged her that Mahesh is no more. The message had only 2 emoticons of folded hands.
We then requested her to call us, but she again sent us 2 emoticons with folded hands.
We still persuaded her by saying that she should tell us at least something since she was madly in love with him once upon a time, but the otherwise effervescent and accessible Barkha was adamant to remain mum. Clearly, she was either saying "I am sorry that I cannot speak" or saying, "May his soul rest in peace"- but she didn't want to TALK and certainly not at length.
Mahesh Anand passed away yesterday. He was found dead in his Yari Road flat. The autopsy report is still awaited. Senior PI from Versova Police Station, Ravinder has revealed EXCLUSIVELY to SpotboyE.com, "Mahesh was found dead on his bed. A half-filled rum bottle and a glass also was found beside him. We think he drank just before he passed away. Whether that led to his death is still not known."
The autopsy report is still awaited. The post-mortem is progress at Cooper Hospital (Irla). It is believed that Mahesh was facing a severe financial crunch and was very disturbed about the fact that he was getting no work. Pahlaj Nihalani recalled him after a 17-18 year hiatus for Rangeela Raja (starring Govinda, Mishika, Shakti Kapoor), but clearly that one-off film was not enough for him to put his life back on track.
