Kangana Ranaut who graced the Times Now Summit 2021, stirred yet another controversy with her comment on freedom. The actress mentioned how India got freedom in 1947 was nothing less than alms, it was in 2014, India actually experienced freedom. This comment got the Panga actress a lot of criticism from social media users, political parties and more. Now Maharashtra minister and Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar as reported in PTI has reacted to yet another statement penned by Kangana that targeted Mahatma Gandhi.
The actress in one of the INSTA Stories, mentioned how Subhas Chandra Bose and Bhagat Singh due to Mahatma Gandhi, walking on the path of non-violence left these freedom fighters with no support. Commenting on this statement of the actress, Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar called her "nachanewali" and her comments don’t make any sense. As reported in PTI, he said, “If some dancer girl ('nachanewali') levels allegations against Mahatma Gandhi, I do not consider it worthy of response.”
He further added how the actress is slammed by maximum people, he said, “Nine out of ten people badmouth her. There is no need to talk more about her.” Giving an example, he stated how when someone spits at the sun, it falls back on the individual's face itself.
After Kangana’s ‘Bheek’ comment stirred controversy she penned long messages on ISTA Stories clarifying that she never demeaned the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.
