After the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, the deadly virus made us sit at home, gave a huge loss to the economy and entertainment industry and has stopped the income of the daily wage workers. COVID-19 has brought everything into a standstill. The shooting for films like Shahid Kapoor's Jersey, Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi, etc has halted midway. Not just the shooting, many big-budget films like Gunjan Saxena, Sooryavanshi, 83 have been indefinitely delayed. Amidst all this bad news, there might be good news for the entertainment industry that has been tweeted by the Chief Minister Of Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray on Twitter

Well, according to his latest tweets, he has asked the entertainment industry to prepare an action plan on film shooting and post-production activities and mentioned that he will consider a plan of action proposed by the industry in "reviving shooting and post-production activities if it includes physical distancing norms and other precautions."  He recently got in touch with artiste and producers from the entertainment industry, especially Marathi film, theatre & television series via video conference and took this decision.

In one of the tweets, he mentioned, “He said the State will consider any action plan proposed by them for reviving shooting and post-production activities if it includes physical distancing norms and other precautions.” While another tweet read, “The State Government will stand firmly with technicians, backstage artistes, workers, folk artistes and tamasha performers in this crisis. The Chief Minister also said that rent concessions for those who have erected sets in the Film City, will be considered.”
