Bollywood stars have been coming out since morning to cast their vote for the Maharashtra Elections 2019. Here's a look at some of the early voters.

Maharashtra Elections 2019 have opened the gates for the people today, on October 21. People in large numbers are flocking to the voting booths to cast their vote for the candidate of their choice. Being responsible citizens of India, even Bollywood celebs are now heading out to the voting booths to exercise their right to vote in the ongoing Maharashtra Assembly polls 2019. Celebs like Aamir Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Kiran Rao, Lara Dutta, Kunal Kohli, Renuka Shahane, Vishal Dadlani and Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza have shared their photos and videos on their social media handle while urging fans to do the same.

While motivating their followers, Renuka and Kunal have posted a video where they are talking about the importance of vote and elections. On the other hand, Vishal Dadlani urges fans to vote those who will fulfill your needs and wants. He shared a tweet which is written in Marathi, his tweet read, “Maharashtra. Tumcha bhagya, tumcha hataat. Ti lokanna vote dya, je tumche kaam karnar, bhagya banavnaar. Je lok vote khaaoon 5 varsh diste nahi tyala kaadhun ghya. Vishal shared another tweet read,” Phir election ka tyohaar aaya, Phir se jung chhid gayee. Ek sainik ke jaan ki boli, Phir vote-on mein lag gayee. Jai Hind.


Thugs Of Hindostan actor Aamir Khan along with his wife Kiran Rao were spotted today, casting their vote.





While lara too comes out in open and urges fans to vote today, she wrote, “Mumbai come out and exercise your right to vote!!”



Today morning, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis too took to their social media handle and urged the citizens to cast their vote today, Modi on his tweet wrote, “Elections are taking place for Haryana and Maharashtra assemblies. There are also by-polls taking place in various parts of India. I urge voters in these states and seats to turnout in record numbers and enrich the festival of democracy. I hope youngsters vote in large numbers.”


While Fadnavis wrote, “Voting is our Right, Voting is our Duty, And voting is an integral part of democracy. DO VOTE! मतदान हा आपला अधिकार आहे, मतदान हा आपला हक्क आहे, लोकशाहीच्या पवित्र पर्वातील ते अभीन्न अंग आहे. मतदान अवश्य करा...!”


The votes will be counted on October 24 along with Haryana.
