As the movie released, actor Ali Fazal expressed his thoughts on girlfriend Richa Chadha's film. Taking to his official Twitter handle, the actor praised his ladylove and told her that it's one of her best performances ever. Apart from that, Ali also had something to say to the naysayers. To the team- BRAVA. #MadamChiefMinister." The actor mentioned that he had the fortune of witnessing a 'spectacle'. He told Richa, that she has outdone herself this time. Ali also hoped that naysayers get a glimpse of the movie. The actor said that the film is "indeed a study and a sum up". And, he also lauded the team of Madam Chief Minister for its effort.

Meanwhile, sometime back, Richa had made a tweet, before the release. The actress shared her 'parting thoughts' in a long note on Twitter. She shared a red heart emoji with the tweet. In her tweet, Chadha reacted to the controversy related to the film and shared her stance.
