After jewellery brand Tanishq receiving backlash for its recent advertisement, it is Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani's film Laxmmi Bomb that has come on the radar of the netizens. The film which is soon to release on OTT platform is making it to the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Netizens are calling for its boycott as they feel that the film is promoting love-jihad. The trailer of Laxmmi Bomb recently released and it had Akshay playing the character of Asif. Now, netizens feel that he is married to a woman named Priya played by Kiara Advani. Just on the basis of names, netizens are calling for its boycott.

Earlier, netizens had called for the boycott of Laxmmi Bomb after Akshay Kumar released a video talking about Bollywood stars and drugs. He had requested all to not put everyone under the same blanket.








Laxmmi Bomb is slated to release during the festival of Diwali. It is the story of a man who is possessed by the spirit of a transgender woman. After the trailer was released, trans right activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi had appreciated Akshay Kumar's performance.
