Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was recently tested positive for COVID-19 followed by getting detected with pneumonia. As per the latest update, as she continues to remain in ICU at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, it is reported that the legend’s health has slightly improved. Now after sister Usha Mangeshkar, ailing singer's sister Asha Bhosle has spoken about Lata Mangeshkar’s health. As reported in ETimes, Asha shared Lataji improving slowly and steadily. She also shared going to the hospital but due to strict COVID-19 protocols, she was not even allowed on the premises.

There are severe restrictions and protocols being followed in view of the ongoing pandemic.” She added, “Besides, I too am not very well- a bit of cough and cold. I haven't contracted COVID; just a bit under the weather. But Didi is improving; she is better than before.” She added her sister Usha Mangeshkar is in touch with Lataji via video calls.
Reports also added as the singer is quite old, the hospital plans to keep her under observation at least for a week.
