Fans who were all set to witness Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan create magic on screen with Laal Singh Chaddha, will have to wait a little longer. Produced by Aamir Khan’s production banner, the film has been now been pushed ahead. The Bollywood remake of the Hollywood film, Forrest Gump will now release on Baisakhi. The movie will hit the silver screen on April 14, 2022. Aamir Khan productions’ Instagram post announcing the same read, “We are happy to share our new poster and our new release date :)”
Along with the new release date, makers also unveiled a new poster. The new poster features a typical house located in the middle of a massive farm, while it also features the lead of the movie. The new poster has Kareena smiling and cuddling with Aamir Khan, thus leaving him amused. The Lagaan actor looks amazing in the pagdi and long beard. The movie was set to release in 2020, but was delayed with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In recent times when the Maharashtra government announced cinemas can re-open, makers announced the release date of the movie which was February 2022 around Valentine’s Day week. Take a look at the new poster and new release date below-
