Bollywood actor Aamir Khan resumed work a while back and has been busy shooting for his upcoming release titled Laal Singh Chaddha. The film is a joint production of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao who recently announced their separation, after 15 years of marriage. The actor was shooting in Ladakh village recently with his team. It was recently reported that Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha team littered the village and left. ‘Aamir Khan Productions’, the Dangal actor’s production company on Tuesday, however, reacted to rumours about shoot location not being kept clean after the use.
On the official Instagram account, Aamir Khan Productions issued an official statement and rubbished rumours. “To whomsoever it may concern, AKP would like to clarify that as a company we follow strict protocols for cleanliness in and around our shooting spaces. We have a team which makes sure that the location is trash free at all times. At the end of the day there is a re-check of the entire location. At the end of the entire schedule, we make sure that when we leave a location we leave it as clean, or cleaner than we found it," read an excerpt from the statement.
The actor’s team further denied the claims that their Laal Singh Chaddha shoot location was not being kept clean. Aamir’s team said their location is always open to relevant local authorities to carry out checks anytime they like. Aamir Khan Productions dismissed littering speculations and dismissed them saying: “We believe that there are some rumours/allegations about our location not being kept clean. We strongly deny such claims. Our location is always open to relevant local authorities to carry out checks anytime that they like."
For the unversed, Aamir Khan was criticised on Twitter recently, after a social media user shared a video of Wakha, a village in Ladakh, being littered with strews and plastic bottles. The user claimed that the village was the shoot location. Also Read: Laal Singh Chaddha: Aamir Khan And His Team Face The Wrath Of Netizens For Polluting A Village In Ladakh -WATCH VIDEO
