Only recently, the internet was buzzing with rumours of Kriti Sanon contracting COVID-19 during one of her outdoor shoots. There, however, wasn’t any official confirmation on the same, until now. Taking to her social media accounts, the Panipat actress shared the news of her testing positive for COVID-19 and also assured fans that she is doing fine. Kriti further revealed that she is quarantining as per the BMC protocols and advice from her doctors. Lastly, she thanked all her fans for their warm wishes and asked them to be safe.
Kriti’s note read, “I would like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. There is absolutely nothing to worry as I am feeling fine and have quarantined myself as per BMC and my doctor's advice. So I am going to ride this tide, rest it out and resume work soon. Till then, I am reading all the warm wishes and they seem to be working. Be safe guys, the pandemic hasn't gone yet,” along with an emoji of her joining hands with a mask on.
Fans were quick to pour in their love for the actress. We came across comments like, “Get well soon Kriti. I hope you find good ways to spend time in home because it gonna get boring real soon,” “I'm sure you'll come out of this very soon, may you have speedy recovery,” “Wishing you a speedy recovery and return to health!”
