We regret to inform you
that the eldest member of the Kapoor family, wife of Raj Kapoor, Krishna Raj is
no more. She suffered a cardiac arrest early this morning and died in her
sleep. Krishna Raj was 87.
Talking to PTI, son Randhir Kapoor said,
"My mother passed away at about 5 am today due to cardiac arrest…old age
was another factor. We are deeply saddened by her demise,”

It's surely a sad phase for Kapoors as just two days back, Rishi Kapoor too informed us about a medical condition for which he said he will be in the US for a few months, Rishi requested his fans and media to not speculate and give them their privacy. Rishi Kapoor wrote in his tweet, "Hello all! I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment. I urge my well wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. It’s been 45 years “plus”of wear and tear at the movies. With your love and good wishes,I will be back soon!"

To talk of late Krishna Raj Kapoor, she was keeping unwell past many years. The legendary actor's wife was in and out of hospital a number of times. May her soul rest in peace.
