Veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi left for his heavenly abode late last evening on 3 August in Lucknow. The senior actor reportedly died of a cardiac ailment. As per media reports, Mithilesh’s tragic demise comes shortly after he suffered a heart attack. He had shifted base to his hometown to recover. The sad news of his demise was confirmed by his son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi on social media. Heartfelt and emotional tributes are pouring in for the late actor from Bollywood and TV celebs.
Confirming the sad news, Ashish shared a couple of Mithilesh’s photos on his Facebook handle and wrote, “You were the best father in the world. You didn't treat me like a son-in-law but loved me like a son. May god rest your soul.” #MithileshChaturvedi is trending on Twitter with netizens, fans, and celebrities mourning the sad demise of the actor. Mithilesh Chaturvedi was a part of the entertainment industry for many decades. In his career, he has worked with some of the biggest actors like Salman Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan and starred in many successful movies. He was seen in films including Hrithik Roshan starrer Koi Mil Gaya, Gadar Ek Prem Katha with Sunny Deol, Satya, Bunty Aur Babli, Krrish, Taal, Ready, Asoka, and Fiza to name a few.
He was last seen in Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, which was released in 2020. Mithilesh also appeared in several Hindi TV shows like Patiala Babes and web shows like Scam. Reportedly, the late actor was roped in for the web series 'Talli Joddi' alongside Maninee De.
