Now, Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife, producer Wardha Nadiadwala took to her social media to announce that Jacqueline Fernandez will star opposite Salman Khan in Kick 2. This announcement comes on Jacqueline's birthday. Earlier, the makers of Kick 2 revealed that Salman Khan will star as the lead in the film, but the name of the female lead was not disclosed.
After action drama Kick, Jacqueline Fernandez and Salman Khan are back to entertain fans in Kick 2. Wardha Nadiadwala mentioned that she is overjoyed to formally announce that director Sajid Nadiadwala has written down the best role for Jacqueline in the upcoming film Kick 2. She added that Sajid Nadiadwala locked the script of Kick 2 at 4 AM in the morning.

Meanwhile, in January, producer Sajid Nadiadwala told PTI that they were yet to lock the female co-star for Kick 2. The director said, “We are yet to lock the female co-star, post which we will start working on the shoot dates. Kick 2 will happen in December 2021. I am in a process to finish writing the script.” The film Kick released in 2014 and starred Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez in pivotal roles. It was the Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name.
