After making us groove on some of his hit numbers, rapper Badhshah is now getting ready to woo the audience with his acting chops as well in Sonakshi Sinha and Varun Sharma's
Khandaani Shafakhaana. But before we see him onscreen, here's what Badshah has to say about his role and the movie.
Recently, in an interview with TOI, Badshah was asked about the film and why he decided to make his acting debut with it. To which he said that he had to understand the character and it is close to what he is in real life, though 10 times louder.
When asked about the subject of the film and if the movie is attempting to break the taboo around sex, Badshah said that the makers have tried to tackle the sex issue in this movie. He also talks about the huge generation gap. Due to this gap in thinking the makers are trying to bridge through this film because there is no other way to put it.
Badshah later adds on that the sooner people start talking about it without any inhibitions, the better it is. The filmmakers have projected that idea in a humorous way because reality can get overbearing at times, and that’s when humour comes into play.
The makers of Khandaani Shafakhana have released two new songs from the film titled
Koka and
Sheher Ki Ladki which is a remake of the 1996 hit song from the movie Rakshak starring Raveena Tandon and Suniel Shetty.
Going by the upbeat music of both the song, it seems like these songs are surely going to turn into a party anthem in no time!
