The report states that the October 2 release faces cuts for some objectionable scenes and dialogues from the movie.
As per the report, a scene in Khaali Peeli which features Swanand Kirkire playing the character of Choksi Bhai, staring at the character of Pooja in a ‘lecherous’ way was asked to be removed by the CBFC. Apart from that, the dialogues involved in that particular scene were also removed. Other dialogues that faced the cut included some 'objectionable terms', says the report. Dialogues like ‘Saale nalla hai tu. Fattu hai’, ‘harami’ and others, faced the cut. The term ‘Maa ki aankh’ was replaced with ‘bhains ki aankh’, with the words ‘maa ki’ with ‘bhains ki’ replaced. Many other words like ‘item’ were replaced with ‘ladki’ and another one was replaced with ‘aunty’ in the movie.
The song Tehas Nehas that features Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter’s some 'sensuous and explicit' scenes were also asked to be cut by the CBFC. Reportedly, the makers were also asked to put a disclaimer at the very beginning of the film that stated that everyone associated with the movie are ‘against the exploitation and objectification of children and women.’ The font-size of the Anti-Smoking and tobacco tickers were also increased and an ad related to the same was asked to be added in the beginning of the second half.
