‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’, hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan, has been grabbing headlines for all the right reasons. This entire week, KBC 13 will pay a tribute to the doctors and nurses for their selfless work during Covid 19 pandemic. Apart from entertaining viewers with his hosting prowess, Big B is often seen revealing some unknown facts about himself and his family. While interacting with contestant Savita Bhati, a nurse by profession, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda is scared of injections.
It so happened that when Savita Bhati's husband revealed to Amitabh Bachchan that she, despite being a nurse, is scared of injections, the megastar laughed and said that his daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, is also scared of injections. The actor also said that Shweta runs around the entire house when asked to take an injection.
Amitabh Bachchan added that, unlike his daughter, he is used to getting injections and doesn’t even feel anything. He also narrated his personal experience with nurses and how they have withdrawal symptoms with the patients. He mentioned that he had assigned a nurse for his late father, renowned poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan, when he was sick. She took care of him 24X7. When his father died, the nurse was so shaken and sad, she refused to nurse anyone else.
“Seeing her dedication we called her again when my mother got ill. But she turned us down saying she wouldn’t be able to take care of anyone else. I don’t even know if she left her nursing job,” the actor added.
