Now, the accused, who threatened the couple on social media for several days, was tracked down by the police. As per the latest reports, the Mumbai police have effectively arrested the accused and he was identified as Manvinder Singh.

The accused is reported to be a struggling actor and a big fan of Katrina Kaif. He wanted to marry the actress and that is why for the last few months, he was constantly troubling her on social media. The arrest took place on Monday, as reported by IndiaTV.

As reported earlier, Mumbai Police have found out that a person named Aditya Rajput was issuing threats to Vicky and Katrina on Instagram. Well, from the looks of it, it’s safe to assume that Aditya is Manvinder’s alias.

A case was registered at Santacruz Police Station following the complaint filed by actor Vicky Kaushal; Cr No. 911/2022 u/s 506(2), 354(D) IPC r/w section 67 IT Act.

The actor personally visited the police station as he said that a user was threatening and posting threat messages on Instagram. Complainant Vicky Kaushal had stated that the accused had been stalking his wife and threatening her.

Confirming the same, ANI tweeted, “Police register a case against an unidentified man and initiate an investigation for allegedly giving life threats to actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal through social media.
