Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif and South superstar Vijay Sethupathi are all set to collaborate for Sriram Raghavan’s upcoming movie, Merry Christmas, and their fans are super- excited! While the team of Merry Christmas was all set to begin shooting for the film in early April, the plans were brought to a halt. Katrina Kaif tested positive for Coronavirus a few days ago, and the shooting schedule had been called off. Katrina has recovered now, and as per the latest development, the film is expected to go on the floors by mid-May.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, the team of Merry Christmas is now waiting for a go-ahead from the government to begin shooting for the film. It will reportedly go on floors from May 15, and will be shot in Mumbai, Pune and Goa. “All the ground work and pre-production is completed and the team now awaited a go ahead from the government to start their shoot. The film will kick off around May 15, in Mumbai with Katrina and Vijay. Most of the film will be shot in the city, followed by brief schedules in Pune and Goa,” a source told the entertainment portal.
The film will be shot from May to September, during which time, Katrina will also be shooting for her upcoming action film Tiger 3, with Salman Khan. According to the report, Katrina is expected to wrap up both films by September, and will move on to her next project, Ali Abbas Zafar’s superhero film, Super Soldier.
