Kartik Aaryan set a new record for himself by filming for his upcoming venture Dhamaka in a start to finish schedule in merely 10 days. Now as per reports in Moneycontrol.com, the actor is reported to have been paid Rs. 20 crores for his Ram Madhvani helmed thriller. Making him one of the highest-paid actors during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, where films’ budget had gone for a toss. Two factors made the actor earn a big moolah.
Firstly all his last four releases such as Pati Patni aur Woh, Luka Chuppi, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 proved to be a success at the box office, and secondly with strong pre-production and film being shot in limited location allowed the makers to save a lot of money. Also compared to any mid-budget film that is shot in 40-50days the actor wrapped up the film in 10 days. That led to a lot of money being saved, besides this, the actor also assured to complete the post-production work at the earliest.
Seems like Kartik is following Akshay Kumar’s footsteps, Akki was reported to have hiked his fees and has been heard charging in between Rs. 100 crore to Rs. 135 crore for his movies in 2021.
