Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has garnered a huge fan following on social media owing to her versatile performances and down-to-earth performances. It was a few years back when rumours and speculations surrounding the feud between the actor and filmmaker Karan Johar had started. It seems like all is well between the duo as they recently announced their new collaboration, an untitled war drama that is set to be released in 2025, on the actor’s birthday.
Taking to Dharma Production’s official X handle, the filmmaker announced the Sandeep Modi directorial. Jointly produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor, the big-budget film will be releasing on August 15, 2025. If various media reports are to be believed the untitled project is a war drama for which Aaryan will be going through a massive transformation. He will have to go through extensive training to essay the titular role of the movie which celebrates the Indian army. Fans have been left ecstatic to seen Kartik and Karan Johar collaborate again. For those who don’t know, the rumours surrounding their feud had started when the actor was ousted from the latter’s ambitious project Dostana 2. Co-starring Laksh Lalwani and Janhvi Kapoor the movie was later shelved. It was heavily rumoured that the actor had increased his remuneration after becoming famous with his prior movies, which did not go down well with the filmmaker.
