As India battles with the Coronavirus pandemic, celebrities are doing their bit to spread awareness and help those in needs. Something similar is the case of hunk Kartik Aaryan, who has started his YouTube channel called Koki Poochega to discuss Coronavirus with its survivors, experts and other officials to raise awareness and break myths surrounding it. The recent guest on his talk was popular journalist Barkha Dutt, with whom the actor had a healthy discussion about her journey of travelling across to cover news related to COVID-19, despite the fear around. However, it was Kartik talking about another journalist that caught our attention.

During their conversation, Barkha was stating how unlike those reporters placed in fancy studios, the journalists who work for local, city newspapers or channels are risking their lives to cover all the news regarding the pandemic. She termed them as stringers. Barkha also lauded a reputed newspaper's editor for the same. Well, she had only taken her first name, of which Kartik took notice and asked her to mention the journalist's full name. He then went onto say his mother is ready to send his rishta to the 1999 version of Barkha Dutt for marriage. The two then broke into laughs and Barkha promised to find a suitable lady for the actor.

During the same, Kartik also asked Barkha to choose one actress among Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor for her biopic. To which, she said, "Out of the people you named I think I’d pick Alia. I think she’s a fabulous actor, and the versatility that she has is unparalleled.”

Speaking about his YouTube channel, Kartik had said, "Ever since the outbreak of COVID-19, there is too much of misinformation about the virus, masses are still confused about the dos and don'ts during these critical times. I really thought there needs to be clarity and speak to the people who have fought the virus. And it’s not just about putting forward questions about Coronavirus, it’s also for people to learn and understand how to kick out this virus - Not to panic, how to stay calm and how to strongly face these times. My show is nothing but to speak to every Indian, reach out to every household nationwide through these interviewees about safety and what are the right precautions at these times.”
